Monthly Design Challenge

This month: a 5 marla family home (25′ × 45′)

Design a double-storey house for a family of six on a 25 × 45 ft plot facing north: 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + powder room, kitchen, lounge, drawing room, car porch and a mumty with stairs.

• Submit: floor plans (PDF), front elevation, one-page structural concept (load path, column/wall layout, slab spans) and a rough cost using our Detailed BOQ Estimator
• Judged on function, light & ventilation, structural sense, buildability and cost

Entries must be your own work. By entering you allow us to show your design with your name. Upcoming themes: a 20 ft cantilever balcony, a small masjid, a rural school block, a rooftop water tank structure.
