How the schedule is made
Each project type starts from a template of activities built by our engineers — design and approvals, foundations, each floor's columns, slabs and curing, brickwork, services, plaster, finishing and handover (or earthwork, subbase, base, asphalt, drains and culverts for roads). Durations scale with your plot size, floor area, number of floors or road length. You can edit every activity, duration and link.
Critical path method (CPM)
The scheduler runs a forward and backward pass on a working-day calendar (Monday–Saturday or Monday–Friday, with your holidays) and supports finish-to-start, start-to-start and finish-to-finish links with lags. Activities with zero float form the critical path and are shown in red — any delay to them delays the whole project.
Cash-flow S-curve
The project cost is spread over the activities by cost weight and summed month by month. For houses the cost is estimated automatically from today's material prices; for other projects enter your budget.
Primavera P6 and MS Project files
Download an XER file or a P6 XML file and import it in Primavera P6 (File → Import), or the XML file in MS Project (File → Open). The WBS, activities, durations, logic links and calendar come across, so you can add resources, baselines and progress there. Always run "Schedule (F9)" in P6 after importing.
Typical durations for planning. Real durations depend on design, site, crew size, payments and weather. For a contract programme, ask our project management team.
