Geotechnical Investigation

Soil investigation and foundation recommendations, in collaboration with the Geotechnical Engineering Lab, MUST, Mirpur.

Overview

Geotechnical Investigation

The safest building is only as good as the ground beneath it. We carry out geotechnical (soil) investigations in collaboration with the Geotechnical Engineering Lab, Mirpur University of Science & Technology (MUST) β€” combining field investigation with university laboratory testing. The result is a clear report on your soil's bearing capacity and the right foundation for your building, which is especially important in seismic Azad Kashmir and on sloping or filled land.

  • Led by a PEC-registered Professional Engineer
  • Transparent, competitive pricing
  • Progress updates on WhatsApp β€” ideal for overseas clients

Offer

Rs 100,000 for sites under 1 kanal. For sites larger than 1 kanal we offer special rates β€” contact us on WhatsApp or email for a quotation.

Our process

How it works

Consultation

We review your plot, the proposed building and its loads to plan the investigation.

Field Investigation

Boreholes or test pits are excavated at planned locations, with in-situ testing and logging of soil layers and groundwater.

Sampling

Disturbed and undisturbed soil samples are collected and sealed for the laboratory.

Laboratory Testing

Samples are tested at the Geotechnical Engineering Lab, MUST β€” classification, moisture, density, strength and other tests as the project requires.

Analysis & Report

We calculate safe bearing capacity and provide foundation type, depth and design recommendations in a signed report.

What the report covers

  • Soil profile and borehole / test-pit logs
  • Groundwater level
  • Laboratory test results
  • Safe bearing capacity
  • Recommended foundation type and depth
  • Notes on settlement, slopes and retaining structures

When you need it

  • Multi-storey houses, plazas and commercial buildings
  • Basements and retaining walls
  • Sloping, filled or near-water land (e.g. around Mangla)
  • Hospitals, schools, masajids and public buildings
  • When approval authorities ask for a soil report
