Tips from our engineers
Plan the prayer hall first
The hall size comes from the number of musallis; allow about 8 sq ft per person, and keep columns out of the saffs where possible.
Wuzu area and ventilation
Separate wuzu areas with good drainage, and high windows or fans for summer Jummah.
Build in stages
A good design lets the community build the hall first and add the minaret and dome later.
