About this test
Find the crushing value of coarse aggregate — its resistance to crushing under a gradually applied load — and compare it with the usual limits.
How it's calculated
- ACV = mass passing 2.36 mm ÷ total mass × 100
- ≤ 30% for wearing surfaces; ≤ 45% for other concrete
