About this test
Calculate the aggregate impact value from your test masses and see whether the crush is tough enough for roads, floors and structural concrete.
How it's calculated
- AIV = mass passing 2.36 mm ÷ total mass × 100
- ≤ 30% for wearing surfaces; ≤ 45% for other concrete
Results are calculated from the values you enter using standard formulas. Download the PDF to keep a record. For certified testing, design or construction, talk to our engineers.
